Having been in business in a small town for so many years, there are many things about Babe’s that our town knows about us. When polling customers, friends and employees, these are the terms that are associated with Babe’ Plumbing, Inc.
- In business since 1957.
- 3rd generation company.
- Family owned.
- Family operated.
- Small business.
- Big, green trucks
- “Good work is not cheap, cheap work is not good”
- The Dalton family
But where is Babe’s headed from here?
C.S. Lewis said, “You are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream.” This is true in life as it is in business.
With 2020 on the horizon, the team here at Babe’s has begun to set new goals and dream new dreams. These include our brand new website (which you are currently enjoying if you have found this post.) As the print age is slowly fading to a digital age, our website is meant to provide information to our current and potential customers in a user-friendly manner. An introduction to our management team, including their photos, will put a face to the names behind our organization. The website also features an area to send in your service requests, contact our office, and even join our team.
Babe’s Benefits Packages are new this year and are intended to help our loyal customers keep their plumbing in the best shape, preventing damage due to plumbing deterioration. There are two packages to choose from allowing benefits members to choose the best fit for their home and budget. With a 10% discount on all jobs for benefits member and priority repair timing, becoming and Babe’s Benefits member, is a great choice for 2020.
A partnership with the City of Venice to test and certify backflow preventers within the city to keep our water clean and sanitary. As part of the Cross Control Program, our friends at the City of Venice Public Works have contracted Babe’s to ensure clean and sanitary water for all City of Venice residents. Scheduling and paying for the testing and certifying of residential backflows was once the responsibility of the homeowner. With this partnership, Babe’s and the City of Venice are working together to enhance the protection of the water flowing into your home.
Hiring employees to our growing business while retaining our long-standing employees (some have been with us over 30 years!!) is high on our radar for 2020. By gauging the market to keep our pay and benefits competitive, we are attracting and retaining the best of the best. This guarantees that when you call Babe’s the quality of the work you receive is top of the line.
So whether you are a loyal customer, new to us, or looking to join our family in business as an employee, 2020 is going to be the year for you!
