Service Plumber
Job Summary:
This Service Technician is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems/fixtures in residential and commercial locations. The Service Technician will conduct installations and repairs in a timely manner and will ensure that all customer service standards are achieved.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments
2. Ensures that all service work orders are approved by the customer prior to initiating service and that payment is collected at time of service completion
3. Responsible for diagnosing the plumbing problem and applying repair or replacement corrective measures. Will perform quality check on all work performed to ensure that the plumbing problem is appropriately resolved
4. Work with blueprints and job specifications as it applies to the job
5. Complete work reports for all assigned service projects
6. Ensure that company vehicle, tools and equipment are properly serviced, clean, and in good working condition. Complete and submit routine truck maintenance checklist according to company vehicle policy
7. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Possess valid Florida Driver’s License and clean DMV record in accordance with company policy
Additional Skills
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are required
